i liked the beautiful trees and wooden pathways on the hotel , it was well manicured. the chalet style room provided absolute privacy. it was very close to the orangutan sanctuary , this made visits easy.
the activities organization was very poor , and this was disappointing. i had to ask about possible activities at check-in. the staff often did not know correct prices.

I found the lodge to be in an excellent location near local attractions. the staff helped organize trips, allowing me to maximize my short stay. my lodge was spacious and clean. I had no issues with insects.
the restaurant prices seemed a little high compared to other places i visited.

The restaurant provided a mix of malaysian and western dishes. I found the food tasty. staff happily took preorders when i knew i would arrive late. This meant i could eat as soon as i was ready.

the lodge features a central lake surrounded by chalets. i saw monkeys and snakes near the chalets, confirming the proximity to nature. staff facilitated wildlife viewings, providing unique access to the local fauna.

The lodge offers close proximity to orangutan and sun bear rehabilitation centers. I found i could easily walk there. the rainforest discovery centre is also walkable. This allows guests opportunities to explore without transportation.

The rooms are spacious, providing ample space for luggage and relaxation. my chalet included a bath. This added a touch of luxury to my stay. the rooms were well-sealed. This helped keep insects out.

AMAZING Rainforest Chalet Experience!

The chalet was fine with beautiful styling and modern comforts. I especially loved the bathtub out front AND the big, comfy bed. The grounds are designed right on the edge of the jungle.
I noticed some building, which slightly interfered with views.

The restaurant offers a REALLY great selection of dishes. Breakfast included AMAZING rotis that I couldn't get enough of. Cocktails were delicious too!!!

The staff members are super friendly and helpful. They speak English well. The manager helped arrange a taxi to the airport and I arrived with plenty of time.

The location is great because it is near the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. I guess that was nice.
The room was very dark. It had bare light bulbs that created a depressing atmosphere. The furniture was also uncomfortable. The experience was not good.
